Hunch is a free-to-play prediction game. You make yes-or-no calls on real-world questions using in-app credits. No real money is wagered or won, and nothing in the app has cash value.
When you create a profile, Hunch generates a random account ID (your "Hunch ID") and stores it on your device. We sync the following to our cloud database (Google Firebase Firestore) so you can restore your account on another phone: your chosen first name, handle and avatar emoji; your credits, points, streaks, unlocks and purchases made with points; the calls, slips and daily picks you make; and the players you follow. We do not collect your email address, phone number, contacts, location, photos or advertising identifiers.
Only to run the game: showing your profile, settling your calls, ranking you on leaderboards inside the app, and restoring your account. We do not sell or share this data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Markets are built from public data feeds (weather, sports scores, market prices, page views, public charts and public prediction markets). Requests to those services are made from your device and are not tied to your identity.
Your data is kept while your account exists. Use Reset account in the profile settings to delete it from your device and from our database, or email us at brianpcoleman@gmail.com and we will delete it within 7 days.
Hunch is intended for users aged 17 and over.
